Lutheranism 101 begins this coming Sunday, September 13, 2026. Pastor encourages ALL members to attend this sturdy series. Guests are welcome as well. This class is especially important for those new members who did not grow up in the Lutheran Church or those who are not familiar with the church. Books and workbooks are available in the Parish Hall.  A $30 donation is helpful, but not necessary to attend the class. The class begins after worship each Sunday–see you in the Parish Hall.

December 2025

Advent:  We are having Advent Services on Thursdays, December 4, 11, and 18. Lunch at 12:00pm and Worship at 1:00pm. PHLC will host Christ Lutheran for these services this year. Please plan to attend if you are able.

Angel Tree: There are still angel gift tags on the back table of the sanctuary. If you would like to participate, be sure to pick your angel, and sign your name on the line with the child’s code. Packages are due back Sunday, December 14.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast: A new ministry is starting!  Men, please plan to join the Prayer Breakfast on the second Saturday of each month beginning Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 8:00am. Please RSVP to Bob Green for further information, and for breakfast.

I hope everyone had a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for.  But, 2 Chronicles 7:14 also comes to mind due to the recent tragedies:

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
